TechnoRiver MICR Font allows you to print the digits and special characters of a check. These digits are usually found at the bottom of the checks and can be read by MICR Readers. TechnoRiver MICR Font is based on the E13-B industry standard. This standard is used in the United States and many countries throughout the world. It is made up of the ten numerical digits and four special symbols.
Using the font is as simple as installing the TrueType font into your computer and selecting its font name with a fixed font size. Organizations that are authorized to print their own checks will be able to use TechnoRiver MICR Font to print their check information using magnetic ink with a laser printer.
In addition to the TrueType (.ttf) fonts, version 2.0 adds several font formats like OpenType (.otf), WinType (.pfb) and ASCII (.pfa), which allows it to be used by different printers under different operating systems.
