Faogen itself uses hardware shadow mapping, floating-point render targets and OpenGL Shading Language to compute ambient occlusion data. This process is much faster than any CPU-based approach.
Requires .NET Framework 1.1 and at least ATI Radeon 9500 or NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200 video card.
Make sure to use latest video card drivers (at least CATALYST 5.11 for ATI and ForceWare 77.77 for NVIDIA).
