Converting a mesh into a solid is using Mesh To Solid for Rhino is very easy. Simply select the mesh (or meshes) from the Rhino model and press Enter. Mesh To Solid for Rhino analyzes the mesh. It then extracts sets of adjacent coplanar faces and creates a single trimmed planar NURBS surface for each set. These planar trimmed NURBS surfaces are then stitched to yield a solid.
Mesh To Solid for Rhino is designed to be extremely user friendly and easy to understand. It adds new commands to Rhino and also a new menu called "MeshToSolid" which houses these commands. To convert a mesh into a solid simply open a drawing and then run the Convert command to create a solid.
Mesh To Solid for Rhino adds new commands to Rhino. All the commands start with "MS" (stands for Mesh To Solid) to distinguish them from other Rhino commands and commands added by other plug-ins.
